Always has struck
me folklore in each country, what this represents in their respective places,
in Argentina is the tango which demonstrate passion and sensuality, in Scotland
we find the Celtic dance, in Brazil is the samba and finally in Chile we have the
cueca, and it is precisely of what I am going to talk about.
When we see two or
more people dancing cueca, people who are located around the dancers say that
in Chile it is difficult to see a teen dancing the traditional dance from their
country and they are surprised. I don't know why, because it is part of the
culture of chilean people. I believe that culture is not only related to
traditions, customs or food, the dance also expresses the culture of each
country and each person's identity.
I think it is
important to continue with traditions and to have a culture with respect to
your country, no matter the age you have. Since if you don't have these
concepts, you are going to lose your identity culture.
